Dirk Olsen is a wood worker of reclaimed hardwoods. He laminates the different species of hardwoods together and produces a variety of beautiful game boards.
He also has found another use for these laminated game board blanks; and that is wood flooring. Like the game boards, each tile is hand-assembled and is unique and individually different from the other. This creates a distinctive and elegant looking floor.
The tongue and groove ready-to-finish floor tiles can be easily installed with
the V-groove or a flat surface.
This flooring can also be laid as a temporary (floating) floor where you can take it with you when you move. It doesn’t have to be attached. It can also be used as a quick dance floor. They can be reassembled for different uses. Another use for these tiles is for distinctive wall paneling. Wood species typical in this product:
Cherry, Walnut, Purple Heart, Oak, Maple, Hickory, Mahogany, Red Elm, Locust, Alder, Ash and Exotic.
All wood squares are 11” X 11” X 3/4” thick.
