Chinese Checkers was introduced in the United States in the 1930’s. It is derived from the game Halma, (Greek: "jump") a checkers-type board game invented about 1880.
Object of game: The goal of the game is to manipulate your ten marbles/pegs across the board to occupy the position directly opposite.
Players required: 2-4-6 The game is started by anyone and turns rotate clockwise. The player can only move or jump in a diagonal or horizontal direction. Pieces are not removed from the board when they are jumped. Any number of jumps may be made in one turn of play.
